ABOUT
My name is Rebecka and I live in north of Sweden in a small town whit my husband Joel and our dogs Koda and Mori. I am a rust, scrap and nature-loving small business owner. I enjoy exploring art and making.
Whether it is being out in nature and taking photos, sitting still and painting, stone carving or welding a sculpture has less meaning. But I always somehow end up in nature in depiction, or material selection. That's where I find my inspiration!
Besides art and making, I co-host two podcasts and work as a tattoo artist. It's hard to know when I started making, because in some ways it's been in my life since I was a kid. Making art, huts, snowhouses, dinosaur lands and stories. It's in all of us from birth I think. It's just embracing it even in adulthood that's the tricky part. Dare to make what's only in your head reality.
Wabi Sabi is a Japanese way of thinking that in short means finding beauty in the imperfect, appreciating nature and being grateful for what you have. It is what I strive for in life.
